A club in Europe's top five leagues has now bizarrely rehired their former manager just 48 hours after they sacked him.
With many of Europe's top divisions now halfway through the season, there has already been a number of managerial changes on the continent.

Six coaches have already been sacked in the 2022/23 Serie A campaign alone, including former bosses of Bologna, Cremonese, Monza, and Sampdoria.
That number could have been seven, but one club has since reversed its decision to dismiss their manager, just two days after relieving him of his duties on Monday.
According to the BBC, Salernitana reappointed manager Davide Nicola on Wednesday, just 48 hours after he was given his marching orders following an embarrassing 8-2 defeat to Atalanta on Sunday.
Club president Danilo Iervolino revealed that the decision was reversed after the 49-year-old spoke "a thousand positive words" to him over the phone.
"You only realise how much you love someone when they leave," Iervolino said, per the BBC.
"It was the only way we could clear the air.
"So for the good of the club, the players and everything, it's only right that the coach has another chance, with the promise the team will never again suffer such a humiliating defeat."
Nicola, who was first appointed in February 2022, has since thanked Iervolino and sporting director Morgan De Sanctis for reconsidering their decision.
"This means that the new football is made of passion and heart, and I want to repay his trust with all my love," he said.
"We have weeks of hard work ahead to reach our targets."

With Salernitana currently 16th in the Italian top flight, Nicola helped steer the side away from relegation last season after he guided them to 18 points in the last 15 matches.
He was then rewarded with a two-year contract in June last year for keeping the club in Serie A following a lengthy absence of more than 20 years.
