'Our plan for Messi, Neymar & Mbappe'

Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann has revealed his plan to deal with the attacking threat posed by Paris Saint-Germain's star-studded trio of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe ahead of the two clubs' titanic clash on Tuesday night.

With PSG and Bayern set to meet for the first leg of their UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie tonight, the French giants will go into the match with a superior head-to-head record, having won six of their previous 11 meetings with the Bavarians, who have been victorious on five occasions.

Prior to the game, the Parisians had some concerns over their famous front three after Messi and Mbappe were absent for their 3-1 defeat to AS Monaco on the weekend due to injury.

The aforementioned duo are now expected to take part in the crunch clash against the Bundesliga powerhouses, however, as they look to banish the memories of their disappointing 2021/22 UCL elimination at the same stage of the tournament.

Bayern boss Nagelsmann has insisted, though, that his side is prepared for the challenge and have a clear plan to deal with PSG's big-name front three, according to PSG Talk

Speaking in a press conference ahead of the match, the German tactician explained: "You can only do it as a team. We have to cut out the passes to him [Messi], Neymar, and Mbappe.

"They've also got fullbacks with a lot of pace. They have a number of really talented players."

Bavarians winger Leroy Sane, meanwhile, has revealed that he was star-struck when he had his first encounter with the PSG trio.

"PSG has exceptional players," the 27-year-old told Bayern's official website.

"I remember when I was younger and couldn't believe I was suddenly playing against players of this calibre.

"Previously, I had only seen them on the PlayStation or on television, and all of a sudden, I found myself next to them in the field.
