Man United boss backs Louis Van Gaal for next season

With two games left of the Barclays Premier League season, United are just one point away from a guarenteed top four finish in the current campaign.

After two season without silverware, Woodward believes Van Gaal will lead the team back to it's glory days after the progress the Dutch manager has made in the current campaign.

With Arsenal just two points ahead of United, and Manchester City still mathematically within reach, Louis Van Gaal's side could still fancy themselves for a higher finish if they win their remaining two fixtures.

In fact, The Red Devils could move above Arsene Wenger's side if they beat the Gunners at Old Trafford on Sunday, in what is arguably the pick of this weekend's Premier League fuxtures.

However, Arsenal will still have a game in hand against Sunderland in midweek, where they could leapfrog United once again.
