His moment of brilliance marked his third goal of this season's edition of the European competition, proving himself to be a dominant force in the UCL once again.
Pep Guardiola's side as a whole have been dominant, and with the win over Sparta Praha, they have now broken United's record for longest unbeaten run in the tournament's history with 26 wins.
The Red Devils held the record for a whopping 15 years after it was set between September 2007 and May 2009.
The side then led by Sir Alex Ferguson won 20 and drew five of their continental encounters in that period, which coincided with them beating Chelsea on penalties to lift the UCL title at the end of the 2007/08 campaign.
Their record would eventually be brought to a halt when United suffered 2-0 defeat to a Guardiola-led Barcelona in the 2009 final.
