A former Manchester United star has now seemingly taken the blame for the Red Devils' decline since departing the club.
Patrice Evra left the Premier League giants to join Juventus in 2014, after spending seven and a half years at Old Trafford, the majority of which were spent playing under Sir Alex Ferguson.

During his stint at the club, the 43-year-old won one UEFA Champions League title, a FIFA Club World Cup, three domestic cups, and five Premier League trophies.
With the Frenchman having won his last EPL title in 2013, United have been unable to emerge triumphant from a league campaign ever since.
The former AS Monaco star, speaking to BBC Sport NI, has highlighted what he feels is now different at the Red Devils.
"It's always tough to talk about United right now because, back in the day, we used to play for the fans, for the badge, for the history," he said.
"I blame myself, I blame Sir Alex Ferguson.
"When we left, we left too early, and it's difficult for the players because they don't have any example.
"I'm not inside, I don't know what the problem is. The manager Ten Hag is trying to do his best – it's not good enough.
"But it's not just about this season, it's since we won the last league in 2013, the club has been, like, in a chaos."
The retired left-back went on to speak about current manager Erik ten Hag, who has won two trophies since being appointed.
He also managed to lead the side to a third-place finish in the league in his first season as coach, but could only manage an eighth-place finish last term – the club's worst in the EPL era.
This campaign has not got off to the best of starts, either, with the Red Devil currently in 12th place after managing to win just three of their first eight encounters of the league campaign.
"I'm a straightforward guy. Even if you put the chef as a manager, I will support any manager [of United]," Evra added.
"Three years [Ten Hag has] been at the club and, yes, he's won two trophies. When you're the manager of United, what people expect from you is to win the league every year.
"We need to stop talking about the past. This is not the United it used to be. We have to rebuild it."
