Barcelona await the winners of tonight’s second semi-final between Juventus and Los Blancos following their 5-3 aggregate win over Bayern Munich on Tuesday night, and their central defender hopes it’s an all-Spanish affair in Berlin next month.
"A final against [Real] Madrid would be very exciting and historic," Pique said.
"We've marked an era. I'm very happy to be part of this team. We'll remember for a long time, now is the time to enjoy it."
His teammates, though, said they did not mind who they face on 6 June.
"Our goal was to be the final and once there it doesn’t matter who our rival is,” midfielder Andres Iniesta said. “But we mustn't stop and we have to try and win everything.
"Being in the final is huge and it would be incredible to get the titles for the team and for the fans."
Neymar was in a celebratory mood following his three goals in the tie and his brace at the Allianz Arena, but he too said he was unfazed at what opposition awaits.
"Now we have only one step left. The dressing room hosted a small party, but we still have one more step," Neymar said.
"It's very important to be in the final. It doesn’t matter who we play."
Barcelona are still on track to win the coveted treble, emulating the feat they managed under Pep Guardiola in 2009.
