Club Brugge turn to Percy Tau for miracle against Manchester United in UEFA Europa League?

Club Brugge may turn to Percy Tau for a 'miracle' against Manchester United in their UEFA Europa League round of 32 second-leg tie at Old Trafford tonight.

Anthony Martial spared United's blushes in the first leg at the Jan Breydel Stadium last week within a substandard performance for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side in the 1-1 draw.

However, for the return leg at the Theatre of Dreams tonight, the scorer of the opening goal in the tie, Emmanuel Dennis, has been ruled out with injury.

Captain Ruud Vormer has also been ruled out while Senegal ace Krépin Diatta will face a late fitness test, along with the suspension to Colombia midfielder Eder Balanta.

As a result, Tau, who wasn't at his usual best in the first leg in Belgium, is being touted to have another chance in the starting XI as manager Phillipe Clement looks for some divine intervention.

"I said qualifying would be a miracle. Because of this [injuries and suspensions] I need to find a bigger word than that," Clement said in the pre-match press conference.

"We need something extra there, so we're going to try to take the maximum out of that and do something bigger than a miracle with a young squad who are less experienced.

"We will have to be top every moment of the race, because if you weaken you will get beaten upside down."

Tau has been named amongst the 22-man travelling squad that will look towards a historic result at one of the most iconic venues in world football this evening.
