After Percy Tau became the latest South African to play in the UEFA Europa League, here are the 10 leading appearance-makers from Mzansi in the competition, which includes three former Kaizer Chiefs stars.
Tau, 25, earned the faith of manager Philippe Clement to lead the line against the Red Devils at the Jan Breydel Stadium and he joins a prestigious group of South African players.

His former teammate at Mamelodi Sundowns Anele Ncgongca made 17 appearances for Belgian giants Genk, which ranks him third in the list.
Only Nasief Morris (18) Steven Pienaar (19) and Benni McCarthy (39) appeared more in the competition that was rebranded from the UEFA Cup back in the 2009/10 season.

Former Kaizer Chiefs captain Lucas Radebe also make the list with 17 appearances for Leeds United while current assistant coach Shaun Bartlett had a prolific spell with FC Zurich.
The rest of the top 10 comprises of Thulani Serero, Dino Nldovu, Bradley Carnell and FC Copenhagen legend Sibusiso Zuma.
