Manchester United made it back-to-back wins in the UEFA Europa League with a 3-2 win over FK Bodo/Glimt on Thursday night.
Full-back Tyrell Malacia made his first appearance for the Red Devils first team since the end of the 2022/23 campaign, while the likes of Mason Mount and Antony were also given starts.
United need just 40 seconds to get the breakthrough when Rasmus Hojlund managed to take the ball off goalkeeper Nikita Haikin, which allowed Alejandro Garnacho to slot into an empty net.
Despite the fast start, the visitors managed to silence the home fans on 18 minutes when Sondre Fet held the ball up well before teeing up Hakon Evjen, who sent a superb strike into the far corner.
Four minutes later, Glimt took the lead on the night when Philip Zinckernagel out ran Malacia to meet a ball over the top and showed the composure to slot past goalkeeper Andre Onana in the box.
The Red Devils did get back on level terms on the stroke of halftime through a lovely volley from 12 yards out after getting picked out by Noussair Mazraoui.
Ruben Amorim's charges came out firing in the second half as they went ahead on 51 minute when Mount's neat flick played in Manuel Ugarte, who picked out Hojlund for the close range finish.
The Red Devils continued pushing for more goals as Garnacho should have had a second goal after 70 minutes when he surged through on goal, but the Argentine forward dragged his effort wide of the upright.
However, three goals were enough to get the job done on the night as Amorim claims his first victory as coach of the Red Devils.
