AZ Alkmaar 0-0 Manchester United

Manchester United's stuttering form carried over to the UEFA Europa League after playing to a goalless draw wit AZ Alkmaar on Thursday.

The Red Devils fielded a number of young players as they did on match-day one, although the decision did not pay off this.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men failed to register a single effort on target during the match as the encounter ended all square.

Wolfsberger 1-1 AS Roma

AS Roma dropped points for the first time in Group K following a 1-1 draw with Wolfsberger AC in Austria.

Leonardo Spinazzola opened the scoring for the Serie A outfit with his first goal of the season in the 27th minute.

However, Michael Liendl popped up with the equaliser six minutes after the break to earn the Austrian side a point.

Besiktas 0-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Wolverhampton Wanderers got their Group K campaign up and running with a 1-0 win away to Besiktas

Wolves started the tournament with a 1-0 loss to to Sporting Braga, but they bounced back on match-day two thanks to Will Boly's 93rd minute strike.

The win moves the Premier League outfit up to third spot, while Besiktas remain rooted to the bottom.
