Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo has broken his silence on the team's quarter-final exit at the European Championship.
A Selecao were bundled out in the quarter-final round by France after losing via the penalty shoot-out.
It was a particularly a disappointing campaign for the 39-year-old, who failed to score in any of his five appearances during the tournament.

The Al-Nassr star took to social media and sent a message to the fans, although it does not sound as if he will be retiring anytime soon.
"We wanted more. We deserved more," the former Real Madrid star said in Instagram.
"For us. For each one of you. For Portugal.
"We are grateful for everything you have given us and for everything we have achieved so far.

"On and off the field, I am sure that this legacy will be honored and will continue to be built. Together."
Ronaldo has already revealed that this will be his final European Championship, but it seems he will be aiming to be part of the World Cup in 2026 when he will be 41.
