Former FC Barcelona star Gerard Pique has reportedly had a change of heart just months after retiring from professional football.
The 35-year-old called an end to his playing career in November 2022, with reports suggesting the centre-back was unhappy with his bit-part role for the Blaugrana after Ronald Araujo, Jules Kounde, Andreas Christensen and Eric Garcia jumped ahead of him in the pecking order.
Since retiring, he has been occupied with running the football club he owns, FC Andorra, and his Twitch channel.

According to Relevo, however, Pique is already bored of retirement and would like to return to the pitch with the Spanish team he owns.
Andorra are currently in 10th position in the second division in Spain, and are just six points away from fourth place.
It is claimed that while Pique can register himself to play, there are a number of potential complications to the potential move as LaLiga's Valuation Committee will need to determine what his salary should be and whether Andorra can afford to pay their owner.
It is said the defender cannot pay himself the minimum wage under strict new rules in Spain.

Each team is given a salary cap, so it appears unlikely LaLiga will agree to Pique taking a massive reduction from his reported wages at Barca, which was said to be close to €30 million (R538 million) a year. It is understood, however, that the ex-Spain international is looking to see if a solution can be found.
