Jurgen Klopp has revealed the circumstances under which he would leave Liverpool amid growing pressure to improve the side's poor results.
The Reds have endured one of their worst starts to a season in contrast to their recent campaigns.
In the 2021/22 season, the side finished as Premier League runners-up on the last day of the season, while they also reached three cup finals, winning two (the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup), and losing to Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League decider in May 2022.

However, the side looks a shell of themselves in this latest campaign, languishing in ninth place on the EPL table, 19 points behind log leaders Arsenal, while also trailing the likes of Fulham, Brighton Hove Albion, and Brentford.
The Merseysiders' embarrassing 3-0 defeat to Brighton this past weekend placed manager Klopp under yet more scrutiny, with some criticising the fact that the German has persisted with underperforming experienced players such as Jordan Henderson and Thiago Alcantara in midfield.
With there being suggestions that he is too loyal to the so-called old guard, he has insisted that the issue is more complicated than that, and also revealed what would lead to his exit from the Reds' helm.
"I heard I'm too loyal but I am not too loyal," the 55-year-old said in a pre-match press conference, according to Sky Sports.
"The problem is too complex. If you can then go out and bring in another player to replace him, then it makes sense.
"But if you cannot bring anyone in, you cannot take anyone out. I am not too loyal. At Dortmund, it was clear when I left, I said 'something has to change here'. It is a different situation.
"Either the manager's position changes or a lot of other things change. So, as far as I am concerned, unless someone tells me, I will not go.
"I will be here for as long as I am wanted. If no one tells me to go, I will not go.
"So that means maybe there is a point where we have to change other stuff. We will see that, but that is something for the future. Like summer or whatever. Not now.
"I have space and time to think about it, we have to play better football now."
