England manager Gareth Southgate has reportedly decided his verdict on suspended Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood returning to the national team fold.
With the Red Devils currently conducting an internal investigation into the incident that led to the player's arrest on charges of attempted rape, assault, and controlling and coercive behaviour in January 2022, it remains unknown as to whether or not the footballer will return to the United fold.

Recent reports have suggested that his future at Old Trafford is in doubt, with the club having received a number of offers from Turkish teams and other sides whose transfer windows are still open to take the striker on loan.
No formal bids have been launched as of yet but interest is said to be widespread.
Now, according to The Sun, Greenwood will not be selected for the Three Lions squad as long as Southgate is in charge.
"He is clinging to the hope of playing again at the highest level," a source told the British publication.
"But Southgate places a great deal of importance on not only a player's talent, but how the squad gels."
Greenwood has not made an appearance for England since making his senior international debut at 18 years old against Iceland in 2020.
Following that appearance, the forward and Phil Foden were sent home after being accused of bringing two women back to the team hotel in a breach of COVID-19 rules at the time.

Despite seemingly being written off by Southgate, the 21-year-old is said to have turned down an approach from Jamaica, whom he is eligible to play for, in the hopes of one day returning to the England fold.
Jamaica Football Federation boss Dennis Chung remains hopeful Greenwood will change his mind, though, believing he could add value to the Reggae Boyz.
"He is only 21 and so has a very bright future ahead of him and I think he will add value to any team he is on," Chung said, per talkSPORT.
