Cristiano Ronaldo has now broken his silence on claims he is trying to engineer another European star's switch to Al Nassr.
The Saudi Pro League has made massive gains in their quest to lure some of the most recognised names in world football to their division in recent weeks.

Since the end of the 2022/23 campaign, stars such as Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante and Kalidou Koulibaly, among others, have made the switch to the Middle East country, while more transfers of a similar nature are still being negotiated.
With Al Nassr having added former Inter Milan star Marcelo Brozovic to their ranks as a marquee signing, it was reported last week that Ronaldo wanted another midfield addition to the team.
It was claimed the five-time Ballon d'Or winner gave his Portugal teammate Otavio a call in the hope of convincing him to leave FC Porto and join him in Riyadh.
However, the 38-year-old has now denied his involvement in the matter.
"Many players are spoken about, I do not speak because I am not an agent," Ronaldo told reporters, per Goal.
"Otavio is spoken about, like 10 or 15 others who have spoken, there is still no news.
"Obviously we are going to strengthen the team, but there are no names yet."
When asked directly if his club has closed a deal for Otavio, Ronaldo added: "Totally a lie. They [the media] release the news, but nothing has been finalised.
"We know that we are going to reinforce, that is clear, but still nothing concrete."

Otavio has two years left on his contract in Portugal, and it is understood that any move for him would require a potential suitor triggering his £31 million (R730 million) release clause.
