€100m star makes desperate, and public, PSG transfer plea

A €100 million (R2 billion) star has now publicly made a desperate Paris Saint-Germain transfer plea.

It is no secret that Les Parisiens are trying to sign another striker before the transfer window closes later this week.

The club has completed one of the biggest squad overhauls in Europe after signing more than 10 new players in this window, while also allowing as many players to leave, including superstars Neymar and Lionel Messi.

Despite already signing marksman Goncalo Ramos from Benfica on a loan deal with an option to make it permanent next season, the French giants have reportedly identified France international Randal Kolo Muani as their top target before the transfer deadline.

However, Les Parisiens are understood to have already seen a bid of €80 million (R1.6 billion) rejected by Kolo Muani's current team Eintracht Frankfurt.

With the German side believed to be only willing to accept €100 million (R2 billion) for their striker, the Les Bleus attacker has now made a desperate plea to have them allow him to move to the Parc des Princes in the next days.

"I owe Eintracht Frankfurt a lot," Kolo Muani told Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.

"I've taken the fans to my heart and have always behaved in a highly professional way.

"I always gave everything for the club until the very end.

"However, it's no secret that Paris Saint-Germain made a record offer for me. A move to Paris is now a unique opportunity for me.

"I would like to move to Paris and have also informed the people in charge.

"I hope and wish that Eintracht will agree to Paris' offer, and that this move will now be made possible for me."

Last season was the 24-year-old's best campaign of his professional career to date, having registered 23 goals and 17 assists in 46 games across all competitions.

Should his transfer to the French giants go through, he will be expected to feature alongside his Les Bleus compatriots Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele in the PSG attack.
