The draw for the quarter-finals of the African Football League took place, with Mamelodi Sundowns drawn against a familiar face.
The draw took place in Cairo on Saturday evening, with the eight highest-ranked African clubs drawn for the inaugural quarter-final round.

CAF have already confirmed the tournament will get underway from 20 October and will be structured on a home and away basis.
Sundowns, who were in Pot 2, will come up against Angolan giants Petro de Luanda in the last eight.
The Brazilians last faced the Angolan side in the CAF Champions League quarter-finals in 2022, where the latter advanced on the away goals rule.
