Ntseki explains how Chiefs will handle Dolly situation

Head coach Molefi Ntseki has issued the latest on the progress of midfielder Keagan Dolly's recovery and explained how the technical team plans to reintegrate the club vice-captain into the team.

Although they had a tumultuous start to the season, Chiefs enjoyed some relief on the injury front with the return of Dolly, who played just over 30 minutes during a 1-0 loss to Cape Town City before the break.

It was a first appearance of the season for the winger, who suffered a long term injury in April against Sekhukhune United

The two-week long FIFA international break would have given Dolly much needed time to build some match fitness, however Ntseki has warned that the club would not rush him into a full-match.

"I think it's a build-up, we are fully aware that Keagan Dolly was out for the last five months due to injury," Ntseki said at the Carling Knockout media briefing on Wednesday.

"So, I think the last game we gave him 30 minutes and I think it will be a build-up in terms of getting match minutes, getting more playing minutes, as well having a very clear understanding of how the team wants to play."

"But he is a professional, very talented, highly experienced so I think we will see more of him over time, whenever he is available for selection."

Kick-off is at 18:00.
