Komphela's R1.2m beast drowns out sound of calls for his exit

Moroka Swallows head coach Steve Komphela's beast worth R1.2 million may just roar loud enough to drown out the cries for his exit.

The former Kaizer Chiefs manager has endured a tough run of results in recent times, with his side suffering three consecutive defeats in the DStv Premiership.

Their latest loss came on Friday against SuperSport United, after the Dube Birds relinquished a one-goal advantage.

Gabadinho Mhango's opener in the 69th minute proved to not be enough as an 85th minute strike by Tendamudzimu Matodzi levelled matters before Etiosa Godspower Ighodaro stole the show with an 89th minute winner.

Amid the the euphoria experienced by supporters of Matsatsantsa, the Dube Birds' faithful were left devastated and reportedly chanted, "Steve must go".

However, on the brighter side of things, Komphela may not have heard those chants were he to leave the stadium in the stunning, powerful Mercedes-Benz G Wagon that he had previously been spotted driving.

Fans in Melrose reportedly came face-to-face with the two-time Premiership winner while he was cruising in the SUV that is said to boast a V8 engine that produces over 400 horsepower!

After a brief interaction, the Swallows boss drove off behind the wheel of what is only a dream car for many.

According to AutoTrader, purchasing a 2016 Mercedes-AMG G-Class G63, which is one of the older models of the car, in good condition would cost someone a whopping amount of R1.2 million.

Meanwhile, a later model of the G Wagon could cost up to just under R3 million.
