'The football he is playing is on another level'

Former Orlando Pirates star Daniel 'Sailor' Tshabalala believes the club's rising star Relebohile Mofokeng is the best player in the Premier Soccer League first round.

The 19-year-old left-winger has featured in 18 matches for the Sea Robbers in all competitions so far this season.

Although he has not yet scored for his club this season, Mofokeng has provided two assists.

"In my opinion, it's Relebohile Mofokeng," Tshabala tells KickOff.

"The type of football he is playing is on another level for his age. I just wish I could see more of him. The coach I believes there is something he has noticed in the boy, he is in good hands. The coach is protecting him. The coach is doing the right thing but if it were me I would start him.

"Just give him five games in the starting line-up. The more minutes you play is the more you (improve). That boy has enough talent to go and represent our country in the world. This is one of the players the world wouldn't mind paying their money just to watch him play.

"In England, I don't think he failed. I think it's a matter of timing. Remember, he still has a brand new contract at Pirates. The coach that was assessing him in England is from Spain, and his coach at Pirates is also from Spain.

"I think the Pirates coach had an influence. So I believe this boy will go. This boy is not a local material, he should be representing us somewhere far away."
