LaLiga giants FC Barcelona have confirmed their new manager following the sacking of club legend Xavi Hernandez.
The Catalan giants have announced the appointment of former Bayern Munich and Germany tactician Hansi Flick as their new coach.
Flick has been a free agent since parting ways with the German national side after a disappointing 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign.

"FC Barcelona and Hansi Flick have reached an agreement for the German to become men's first team football coach until 30 June 2026," the club announced on their website.
"The new coach has signed a contract at the Club's offices accompanied by FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta; first vice president responsible for the sporting area, Rafa Yuste and the Club's sporting director, Anderson Luís de Souza, Deco.
The German tactician enjoyed great success in his short spell with the Bavarians where he won two Bundesliga titles, the UEFA Champions League and a DFB Pokal title.
Flick's time with the German national side did not go to well, as the team were eliminated at the group stage phase of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
