Word reaching KickOff is that Nasreddine Nabi could be inching closer to a move to Naturena, with talks understood to have been opened between Kaizer Chiefs and the Tunisian coach.
The two parties have been mentioned in the same sentence since prior to the beginning of the just-ended season, when the former Young Africans mentor held negotiations with the Amakhosi hierarchy with a view of taking over as the new man in charge.

However, as is well-documented, the talks collapsed, with the sticking point having been Nabi's insistence on bringing his own technical staff.
Subsequently, the 58-year linked up with ASFAR Rabat in the Moroccan topflight, with whom he has enjoyed a fine season.
With two games left to play before the season ends, they lead the standings with 67 points, one more than Josef Zinnbauer's Raja Casablanca in second place.
They are also through to the quarterfinals of the Moroccan Throne Cup, which is the equivalent of South Africa's Nedbank Cup.
His team is also renowned for scoring goals, having netted 61 in 28 league matches, and have received plaudits for their ability to keep ball possession and, at times, play opposition sides off the park.
Now, indications from a well-placed source are that the Soweto giants have reignited their interest in Nabi and the two parties are currently in the early stages of discussing a deal.

A number of names have been linked to the Chiefs hotseat, among them Alexandre Santos and Pitso Mosimane, but it seems the Amakhosi management have their eye firmly on the highly-rated Nabi, who could now be on his last few weeks with the Moroccans.
