After Real Madrid officially announced the signing of French superstar Kylian Mbappe, his whopping wages and sign-on bonus has reportedly been revealed.
The 25-year-old has taken a significant pay cut by signing for the Spanish giants after earning £21.4 million (around R512 million) per season at Paris Saint-Germain, according to Daily Mail.

The move to the Santiago Bernabeu will reportedly see the France international earn £12.7 million (R303 million) a season which, despite the decrease, is said to make him the highest earner at his new club.
Where he lost out in salary, the attacker seemed to have gained in a sizeable sign-on fee which has been suggested to be over £85.6 million (R2 billion).

The forward will also hold on to an 80% share of his image rights, which is believed to contradict the norm that sees clubs impose a 50-50 split on new players.
Mbappe took to social media and posted pictures of him as a youngster wearing a Los Meringues jacket as well as an image of him posing with Cristiano Ronaldo, and expressed tremendous excitement towards what lies ahead.
"So happy and proud to join the club of my dreams. Nobody can understand how excited I am right now. [I] Can't wait to see you, Madridistas, and thanks for your unbelievable support," he wrote.

Reports suggest that the attacker will don the number No. 9 jersey during his debut season, but will then take the number 10 when midfielder Luka Modric departs the club.
