With Kaizer Chiefs boss Nasreddine Nabi recently stating that his side is not negotiating a transfer for Percy Tau, another club has now denied making a move for the Al Ahly and Bafana Bafana star.
According to reports in Egypt, Tau could leave Al Ahly in the current window, with the club reportedly in talks with the player regarding a mutually agreed termination of his contract.

The South African is now in the final year of his contract in Cairo, and the Red Devils are understood to be keen to cut ties with him at the request of manager Marcel Koller, who would like to create room in his 2024/25 squad for more foreign signings. Tau, though, is understood to be fighting to be paid out for the final year of his contract before he will agree to leave Ahly.
Several potential suitors in Africa and in the Middle East have been linked with a move for Tau in the current transfer window, including South African giants Chiefs.
However, Amakhosi boss Nabi recently denied suggestions linking the Naturena outfit with the forward, telling On Time Sports 1: "There are no negotiations between us and Percy Tau because he is contracted with Al Ahly."
Newly promoted Saudi Pro League club Al Kholood were also reported to be vying for the 30-year-old's signature, but the chairman of the club, Mohammed Abdullah Al Khalifa, has now also dismissed reports that his team made a move for the former Brighton Hove Albion attacker.
Al Khalifa told Egyptian media outlet Al-Usbu on Tuesday: "There is absolutely no truth to what was reported about negotiations with Percy Tau, Al Ahly player, during the current summer transfer period.
"Al Kholood has concluded many strong deals in preparation for the Saudi League competitions, and at the present time we do not need to strengthen our ranks with any other player or any new deal.
"We wish the South African star Percy Tau success in his career with Al Ahly Club. He is a great player, but he is far from immortality."
