The suspension comes after Tunisian winger Amor Layouni lodged a complaint with the governing body over unpaid financial dues, according to Egyptian outlet Youm7.
It is reported that FIFA confirmed that Pyramids FC failed to comply with a ruling from the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), which had ordered the club to settle the outstanding payments to the player.
The club's appeal against the ruling was rejected, leading to FIFA's decision to impose the ban.
Layouni is understood to be demanding $300 000 (around R5.5 million), plus an additional 5% interest from 1 January 2023.
Until the financial dispute is resolved, Pyramids FC will be unable to register any new signings, putting their plans for the upcoming transfer window in jeopardy.
