A Ghana international, who was inconsolable after his side's last-16 defeat to Tunisia, has commented on the Black Stars' elimination from the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
The Eagles of Carthage booked their spot in the quarter-finals of the tournament, defeating James Kwesi Appiah's side 5-4 on penalties, with the clash ending 1-1 after extra-time.
Despite being the recipient of the Man of the Match award, Mubarak Wakaso could not hide his tears, revealing his disappointment at not being able to help Ghana clinch their fifth AFCON title.

"I can't even describe how we are feeling but the only thing I have is I need to thank my colleagues the whole time for their support," Wakaso said in post-match comments, as per Ghanasoccernet.
"It's part of the game. I think we need to think about our future - that's the only thing we can do.
"My reason (for being so emotional and crying in the post-match conference) was that I thought this tournament was for us due to the hard work we've been putting in in every match.
"That is the reason why I'm like this right now but still have a future so we need to think ahead."
Wakaso notched up back-to-back Man of the Match awards, after being handed the accolade in Ghana's 2-0 victory over Guinea-Bissau as well.
