Former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has commented on Bafana Bafana's 1-0 victory over Africa Cup of Nations host-nation Egypt.
Seven-time Afcon winners Egypt were eliminated from the tournament after suffering a shock 1-0 last-16 defeat to Stuart Baxter's charges, courtesy of Thembinkosi Lorch's lone-strike in the 85th minute of the tie.
Mourinho, revealed his thoughts on the result, and in doing so, singled out the individual performance of two-time African Player of the Year Mohamed Salah, claiming that the Liverpool star was tired at the Cairo International Stadium after playing more than 60 games for the Reds during the 2018/19 season.

"I watched the games in which Salah played last season. He is very tired, and that is normal after you play 60 games," Mourinho said, as per King Fut.
"When you are in possession, you cannot keep on passing the ball backwards.
"These are not (Javier) Aguirre's instructions. This only shows the players' mentality.
"South Africa were patient, disciplined and well-organised. On the other hand, Egypt were really disappointing."
Bafana will do duty against Nigeria in the quarterfinals of the competition after the Super Eagles came from behind to secure a 3-2 victory over Clarence Seedorf's Cameroon side on Sunday.
