Senegal superstar Sadio Mane has made a huge decision at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, which could have an impact on the Liverpool talisman's pursuit of the top-scorer accolade in Egypt.
Mane, 27, is the currently the joint-top goalscorer with three goals scored in as many matches in Egypt, alongside Algeria's Adam Ounas, Nigeria's Odion Ighalo and DR Congo's Cedric Bakambu.

Despite his goalscoring heroics for the Lions of Teranga, the 2018 UEFA Champions League winner's overall goal tally should be five goals, but due to two missed spot kicks against Kenya and Uganda the former Red Bull Salzburg man only sits on three strikes thus far.
In the aftermath of his side's narrow 1-0 victory over Uganda, Senegal boss Aliou Cisse claimed that the Liverpool forward will remain as the first choice for penalties.
"We trust Sadio Mane much and he was one of the reasons we qualified today. He will remain number one for penalties," he said.
"We have to prepare well for the next game. We are a team that looks for win whoever our opponent is.
Mane, however, has since provided an update, revealing that he will step down from his role as the team's designated penalty-taker, in order to not jeopardise Senegal's chances of winning the AFCON title.
"It's a momentary withdrawal," Mane said as per the Daily Mail.
"I have missed penalties in both games and must admit it is not a good ratio. I do not want to penalise my team and, at least for the time being, I'm going to stand aside for the penalties and let other team-mates get on with it.
"When I return to my club, I will continue to work hard to improve this aspect."
