snl24.com/kickoff has been informed that Simba are willing to stretch their offer for the new coach to as much as 35 million Tanzania shillings (approximately R230 000) which has opened the post to plenty of possibilities.
The package offered by Simba comes with accommodation, transport and air tickets among others.
According to information from the East African country, one of their targets is Mamelodi Sundowns co-coach Rulani Mokwena.
However, with Mokwena in a comfortable space where he is winning trophies with Sundowns still involved in the CAF Champions League the likelihood of that move happening remains unlikely.
Simba are apparently keen on an African coach with the last four men to occupy the hot-seat having all been European managers including Didier Gomes Da Rosa.
Two former Orlando Pirates coaches have also been linked with the job in Milutin Sredojevic and Josef Zinnbauer.
Sredojevic recently returned to his Ugandan national team coaching job while Zinnbauer is yet to move on since leaving Orlando Pirates at the beginning of this season.
The new Tanzanian season has just recently started, and they are due to play Arrows in the Confederation Cup play-offs after being surprisingly knocked out in the Champions League by Jwaneng Galaxy.
Also linked with the job is Croatian trainer Zrdavako Logarusic who was disappointing in his time in charge of Zimbabwe while Milovan Cirkovic has also been mentioned.
Currently in charge on a caretaker basis is former SuperSport United midfielder Selemani Matola.
