Dino Ndlovu shops with Amapiano mega-star DJ Maphorisa in Sandton

South African striker Dino Ndlovu was recently spotted doing some cosmetic shopping alongside Amapiano superstar DJ Maphorisa. Here's a look.

The story

The Changchun Yatai star seems to be back in Mzansi as he was seen at Skins Cosmetics South Africa in Sandton this past weekend. The shop is known to sell premium skincare products and it is a popular store among the rich and famous, including Maphorisa who was draped in high-end fashion such as Celine.

It cannot be disputed that Ndlovu appreciates a little bit of self-care as his lifestyle is visibly opulent, to say the least. In this day and age, skincare has become increasingly popular, perhaps due to the demanding beauty standards that have been set in today's society.

An advantage to this is that the stereotypes that existed when it came to men taking care of their skin are a thing of the past and it seems that people are now prioritising the benefits of having good and healthy skin over meaningless stigmas.

Mamelodi Sundowns star Lebohang Maboe was also spotted at the store last week, proving that some footballers really do care about their skin.

Interestingly, although the former Qarabag talisman joined the Chinese outfit as a first-team player, on Transfermarkt he is listed as a Changchun Yatai Reserves player and it remains unclear why that is the case. So far, the marksman has registered one goal and one assist in nine appearances in the Super League 2022.

Did you know?

The 32-year-old's highest recorded market value stood at R21.1 million (€1.2 million) in December 2018, according to Transfermarkt. Currently, his is said to be worth R6.6 million (€375k)

Your thoughts, please?

With the Klerksdorp-born star's contract in China expiring at the end of this year, what do you think his next move should be? A return to South Africa perhaps?
