Golden Arrows have confirmed that Mabhudi Khenyeza has not reported for duty for a week amid reports that he has resigned.

While reports indicate that Khenyeza has stepped down, Arrows have responded with a short statement.

"Lamontville Golden Arrows Football Club would like to state that Mr Mabhudi Khenyeza has been absent from work for a week.

"Musa Bilankulu and Kagisho Dikgacoi are in charge of the team.

"The Club will not comment any further on this matter," reads a statement from the KZN club.

Such has been the long list of changes in the Betway Premiership since the end of last season that half the teams – Mamelodi Sundowns (twice), Kaizer Chiefs, Richards Bay FC, AmaZulu FC, TS Galaxy, Marumo Gallants, Sekhukhune United, Chippa United, and now Golden Arrows – have had to make changes.

Khenyeza is linked with Richards Bay.
