OFFICIAL: Chiefs confirm another loan exit

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that midfielder Mduduzi Mdantsane will spend the rest of the season out on loan with Richards Bay FC.

In a club statement released on Friday, Chiefs confirmed that Mdantsane has headed to the Natal Rich Boyz after his game-time struggles at the club.

Importantly, the Soweto giants have also insisted that the 30-year-old would return to Naturena at the end of his loan, shutting down any suggestions of a permanent exit for the former Cape Town City man.

"Kaizer Chiefs have agreed to a loan deal that sees midfielder Mduduzi Mdantsane join KwaZulu-Natal side, Richards Bay, for the remainder of the 2024/25 season," a club statement on the club's website reads.

"Mdantsane, a talented and experienced attacking midfielder will rejoin Amakhosi at the end of the season.

"We wish 'Mdu' all the best as he embarks on this new chapter in his career. His journey at Natal Rich Boyz is sure to be an exciting one, and we look forward to his return to the Amakhosi family, ready to make a mark in the team."

Mdantsane had joined at the start of the 23/24 season but has struggled to nail down a starting position - in part, his struggles have been down to injuries.

The club is aiming to revive the 30-year-old, whose initial contract expires at the end of June 2026.

Mdantsane is the third player that the Naturena-based outfit have sent out on loan this term.

Donay Jansen was sent to SuperSport United at the start of the season, while Sabelo Radebe also went to Richards Bay.
