Head coach Clinton Larsen has backed former Kaizer Chiefs and Stellenbosch winger Kgaogelo Sekgota to 'set the league alight' in a fresh start at new club Magesi.
Having become somewhat of a forgotten footballer, Sekgota is aiming to start afresh with newly-promoted Magesi after underwhelming spells with Kaizer Chiefs and Stellenbosch FC.

The speedy winger is among the 'big names' signed by the top-flight newbies ahead of the 2024/25 season following their promotion from the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
Speaking to media at the Premiership launch ahead of the new campaign, Larsen - who is a big fan of the winger, explained that he felt Sekgota had been underutilised at previous clubs and is determined to draw the very best out of the 27-year-old.
"I have watched KG at three previous teams; at Wits, at Kaizer Chiefs, as well as Stellenbosch, and one thing that was consistent was that he played on the left-hand side.
"What did he do? He beat his man and crossed the ball.
"I've put him in a different position this season because I feel his skill set will allow much more than just cross the ball.
"So, I believe he's going to set the league alight. I honestly do, based on what I have seen and based on just the adjustments we have made in terms of the position he is going to play this season; he will not be playing as left winger.
"I believe his skill set is stifled to a certain extent; he doesn't have a right foot so cutting inside doesn't really help him.
"So, I'm really looking forward to what he delivers and I won't be surprised if he is one of the players who will be in high demand at the end of the current season.
