The new GladAfrica Championship side is among the log leaders as they sit third on the table with four points after two matches.
"Everybody in the club is very much satisfied with the start, four points out of a possible six, that's the start we were looking for," Ferreira tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"Scoring six goals in two matches is also a start any coach would want to look for. We must just guard against any form of complacency. We don't have such a big squad, so complacency is always a deterrent when you win or you do well.
"But I think we've sent a brief message to the rest of the country that we mean business, and we've got a fantastic organisation. It's the best, most organised and most disciplined club structure I've ever had and I've been in football for 30 years now.
"So there's nothing that I need, there's nothing that I require. The chairman Mr Malatjie and his board of directors are giving me the tools to succeed and not the other way round."
Asked if their target was straight promotion this season, Ferreira said it was too early to think of such things.
"I don't think you can say automatic promotion so early. Historically 60 points is going to get you the championship, and we'll target five games at a time and see how many points we can accumulate. We've strategised around that formula," he explains.
"Our club captain Tapuwa Kapini, he's been absolutely brilliant. I can see why he's played 300 games in the PSL. Thulani Ndlela, the central defender that came from Uthongathi with me, he's absolutely proper PSL material.
"There are many good players knocking on the door but we've asked them not to move anywhere, we've asked them to stay with us and see if they can't help us get promotion."
