Journeyman Nkosi has returned to Ezenkosi following stints with Maritzburg United, Cosmos, Orlando Pirates and Free State Stars.
Club boss Jomo Sono confirms the 27-year-old's presence with the team to help them win promotion back to the Premiership.
"Oh yes, Ayanda is there," Sono tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"He's done well you know, his appetite for football has come back, and it's a different setup here at Cosmos [than when he was here before].
"I think he also needs the limelight a bit because he hasn't played for a long time. But he is different to some of the players who were coming from professional [PSL] to GladAfrica. He is a bit different you know, hopefully he will keep it up that way."
Sono continues: "He is different. He wants to do well, he is not coming with a reputation that he was playing for Pirates. Because some only come with reputations you know, you find that he only wants to use it, no no no.
"Reputation don't play because even us and the likes of Teenage Dladla, we would be using it to play even today. Reputation don't play, you must play on the field of play, you must work hard. There's no secret to success, it's just to work hard, finished."
The Black Prince of South African football also confirms that Ezenkosi will be playing all their home fixtures at Olen Park in Potchefstroom this season.
Cosmos open the new season when they host GladAfrica Championship new-boys Sekhukhune United on December 1.
