Singh is set to become the fourth South African on the books of the top-flight side after Bongani Zungu, Thibang Phete and Haashim Domingo, who plays for the ‘B’ side.
Respected Portuguese publication A-Bola are reporting that Singh will sign a four-year contract with the club when his current deal at Swedish second-tier side GAIS ends later this month.
The winger, who can also play as a central striker, scored nine goals for GAIS in the last season and also drew interest from Real Madrid’s B side, as well as English Premiership Swansea City, Italian side Pescara and another Portuguese team, Benfica.
Singh has been called up for the Amajita squad that is preparing for the COSAFA Under-20 Championships that will be played in the North West province from December 7-16.
