Cape Umoya United recruit ex-Kaizer Chiefs defender Dominic Isaacs to serve as Roger de Sa's assistant

United, formerly known as Platinum Stars, have undergone an overhaul since their relegation to the National First Division last season.

De Sa and his partners not only renamed the former Rustenburg-based franchise, but also relocated the club to the Mother City where they will use Parow Park as their home ground.

This website has been informed that although Isaacs has not put pen to paper yet, this is a mere “formality”.

“Dominic has started from the bottom with an amateur club called Hout Bay United where he was massively successful with the club’s U-18 squad, guiding them to success in the prestigious Coke Cup," says a source.

“He is a young, qualified coach with a CAF C license and has big ambitions to make his mark. And he is just the perfect candidate to assist Roger with trying to get the team promoted back to the PSL.

“Besides, Dominic has an eye for talent and he will surely be able to attract talented youngsters to the club. He will surely add value in my opinion.”

De Sa has also apparently recruited a goalkeeper coach from neighbouring Ajax.
