Former Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic has parted ways with an African club after spending only nearly three months upon his arrival.
Micho, as the well-travelled tactician is affectionately known, has confirmed that he left Sudanese giants Al Merrikh SC due to financial issues.
The Serbian coach spent just about three months with the Sudan Premier League powerhouse, having joined the team in January this year.

The former Zamalek coach had lost five league matches since he assumed control of the team and won on five occasions, including a victory over this sean's CAF Champions League quarterfinalists Al Hilal SC.
Although reports suggest that Micho left the team because of poor run of form with a series of unconvincing performances, Sredojevic revealed that his departure was due to not receiving payment.
"Due to non payments of wages we are parting ways. It is better to sit for free than work for free," Sredojevic told Soccer Laduma.

Interestingly, both Merrikh and their arch-rivals Hilal are currently competing in the Mauritanian top flight due to the reported ongoing suspension of football in Sudan due to political turmoil.
Micho leaves the Red Devils in sixth place in the Mauritania Premier League standings, having gathered 36 points from 25 matches, with five games left before the season ends.
