It has been confirmed that another player has chosen to leave Rulani Mokwena's Wydad Athletic Club.
Goalkeeper Mehdi Maftah has officially left the side as he dropped further down the pecking order after the signing of Abdelali Mhamdi, according to Febrayer.

It is understood the player's contract was terminated by mutual consent, with the agreement to do so having been in place "some time ago".
This is believed to be the reason behind the shot-stopper not accompanying the rest of his teammates on their pre-season preparations in Tunisia.
Maftah took to Instagram to officially announce his departure, bidding farewell to the club and showing gratitude to members of the staff and team as well as its supporters.
"Today, I bid farewell to Wydad Sports Club. I had the honour to carry the club's shirt with great pride," he wrote.
"Thank you very much to all the components of Wydad Sports Club, from the head office, the technical and medical staff, those responsible for the luggage, and the club workers.
"Thank you to my fellow players for all the support and support they have given me.
"Finally, thank you to the Wydad fans for all the love and appreciation I found from you, along with my wishes for the team for a better future during the coming seasons."
Maftah made just four appearances across all competitions over the course of last season, but managed to keep the ball out of the net in each of those games.
Mokwena, however, still has cover for the position between the poles as there is a trio of keepers in the squad, namely Abdelali Mhamdi, Youssef El Motie and Boubacar Bah.
Maftah's departure comes after the club lost the services of a number of other players following the conclusion of the 2023/24 campaign.
