Klopp addresses Salah future amid Saudi interest

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has commented on Mohamed Salah's future with Saudi Pro League transfer window still open.

Al-Ittihad reportedly interested in the Egyptian superstar as they look to attract another high-profile star following the arrival of Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante.

Reports claim the Saudi Pro League side are still pondering about making a  £150million forward, who has only scored one goal in the opening three Premier League games.

With Saudi transfer window still open, Klopp insists the club's position remains the same and the forward remains committed.

"Mo is super committed, really in training fully there. And in the leadership meetings this week he was fully in," Klopp said, as per Goal.

"I have to deal with facts, and my fact is: 'All good, we are here and everything is fine'."

Klopp also called for UEFA to step in and ensure the Saudi transfer window closes the same time as the other European leagues.

I think the next two weeks will show how much of a challenge it is, because what happens there, obviously, nobody can react anymore.

"That's something I think UEFA or whoever should have an eye on, to sort that.

"We all have to protect the game and we want to. It's not a league or whatever, it's the game."
