With Arsene Wenger recently present at an Arsenal game for the first time since leaving the club, current boss Mikel Arteta has admitted the legendary tactician's long-awaited return to the Emirates "was weird" .
The Frenchman took charge of a record 823 games for the Gunners, and etched his name into the club's history by leading them to an impressive 17 trophies.

While Wenger experienced some intense pressure from the team's supporters in the latter stages of his time at the Emirates, the manager is still revered by many and received an ovation when he was seen in the stands during Arsenal's 3-1 win over West Ham United on Boxing Day.
This was the legendary manager's first time back at the stadium since leaving the London club in 2020.
On the same day, Wenger, who today is Chief of FIFA's Global Football Development, also paid a visit to the dressing room.
Current Arsenal boss Arteta since reflected on Frenchman's visit.
"You could feel that he was emotional, that he really enjoyed [it]," Arteta told ITV, per the Daily Mirror.
"And I think he felt the love from everybody at the football club, the appreciation of what he's done.
"And it was weird to see him around the dressing room, but at the same time, it was a beautiful day for everybody."
With Arsenal having not won a league title since the 2003/04 season, the north London side have a chance to end the 19-year drought as they currently sit at the top of the Premier League table.
With a potential EPL triumph on the cards, spirits appear to be high in the camp, and Arteta is happy with the atmosphere at the club.
"That is one of the things I am most proud of," the Spanish manager said, per the Daily Mirror.
"The way everybody has contributed in this football club to get everybody together.

"To be a part of it and feel really attached and belonging to what we are doing, and that is credit to every member of this football club.
"I believed that was the biggest platform to build anything and be what this club deserves, and everybody has contributed to that in a big way and I am happy everybody is feeling that way."
