How Mbappe responded to 'unhappy' boss despite hat-trick

The way Kylian Mbappe has responded to his manager being "unhappy" with him despite scoring a hat-trick on the weekend has now reportedly been revealed.

The France captain's heroics helped Paris Saint-Germain to a 3-0 victory over Reims on Saturday, catapulting them to the top of the Ligue 1 table.

However, despite netting three times in the encounter, the Parisian side's boss Luis Enrique admitted that he wanted the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner to contribute even more to the team.

"I'm not really happy with Kylian Mbappe today," Enrique said after the game, per PSG Talk.

"On the goals, I have nothing to say. But he can help the team more, in a different way.

"I'll talk to him about it first. I'll never tell you what it is because it's private.

"Kylian is one of the best in the world, but we need more. We want him to do more things."

In response, Mbappe has reportedly welcomed his manager's critiques, which are believed to have been about the defensive side of the forward's game, with Enrique wanting to increase the star's sense of defensive responsibility.

It is further claimed that the 24-year-old appreciates the Spanish tactician's frank and demanding nature.
