CONFIRMED: Sancho leaves Man Utd again!

Jadon Sancho has now officially left Manchester United for the 2024/25 season.

The 24-year-old has joined London giants Chelsea on a season-long loan deal that includes an obligation to buy reportedly worth £25 million (R585 million)

The announcement comes after the Englishman and Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag seemingly buried the hatchet following their public fallout last season.

As a result of that disagreement, the forward was banished from all first-team activities before spending the rest of the 2023/24 campaign on loan at Borussia Dortmund, where he impressed as he helped the German outfit reach the final of the UEFA Champions League.

While many may have thought that his temporary departure would help him work his way back into the Dutch manager's plans at Old Trafford, the attacker was excluded from the matchday squad for United's first two games of the Premier League season.

After amassing 12 goals and six assists in 83 appearances for United, Sancho will now have the opportunity to kick-start his career at Stamford Bridge.

The player is reportedly keen to join Todd Boehly's project at Stamford Bridge, and gave his representatives the green light for the move early on Friday morning.

Sancho had also attracted the interest of Juventus, who reportedly agreed terms with the Red Devils to sign him.

That deal would have seen the England international replace Federico Chiesa, who recently completed a move of his own to Liverpool, in Turin.

However, Sancho will now be plying his trade at the Blues, and will be hoping for success with his new side as part of a collective as well as an individual.
