Their latest recruit, Alex Telles, is believed to have been persuaded by the Portuguese superstar to some degree to leave Manchester United and join him in Riyad instead.
While the five-time Ballon d'Or winner denied trying to lure his international teammate Otavio to his club from FC Porto earlier this month, his response certainly indicated his active interest in the ins and outs at Al Nassr.
Moreover, it is now being reported that he has yet again got in contact with another one of his former colleagues at Old Trafford about a potential move.
According to Sky Sports, Ronaldo has been in dialogue with defender Eric Bailly over a £20 million (R463 million) transfer to Al Nassr.
With the Ivorian having been left out of the Red Devils' pre-season tour of the United States, United's chiefs are also said to be in talks to send the 29-year-old to Saudi Arabia.
It is understood that Ronaldo discussed life in the city of Riyadh as well as the Saudi Pro League with the centre-back, and that a three-year deal is being weighed up.
