A former Manchester United star has now had his contract terminated after just nine days at his latest club.
United have endured a tumultuous era following Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement in 2013 after a remarkable 26 years in charge.

Since then, the club has breezed through a handful of coaches who could not replicate the Scotsman's success, with a lot of players having also failed to live up to the team's heavy expectations.
Among those who showed promise in the post-Ferguson regime is former France international Morgan Schneiderlin, who arrived at Old Trafford in a £27 million (R646 million) transfer from Southampton in 2014, having been signed by Louis van Gaal.
The move would be short-lived, however, as the player was discarded by Jose Mourinho after just two years in Manchester.
Short stints at Everton, Nice, and in Australia would follow before the now-33-year-old landed in Turkey.
Schneiderlin signed for Konyaspor as a free agent at the beginning of this month, but his contract has now been terminated little more than a week later by mutual consent, due to "family reasons" on the part of the player, although it is not clear why he made this decision to do so as he is yet to comment publicly on the matter.
A statement by the Super Lig club on Thursday read: "Professional football player Morgan Schneiderlin, whose transfer we have announced recently, conveyed to our management that he wanted to leave due to family reasons.
"As a result of the consultations and evaluations, our club approached Morgan Schneiderlin's request positively and terminated his contract by mutual agreement."
While playing in Australia for Western Sydney Wanderers earlier this year, the playmaker told the Daily Mail he has major regrets about leaving the Red Devils.
"I know if I played to my full potential, with freedom, I would not be in Australia right now," the 15-cap France international said.
"Maybe I would still be at Manchester United. When I signed, I wanted to be a legend there.
"That is why I am mad with myself and it will be hard until the end of my life
"My friends ask, 'Why are you saying this?' But I know myself and what I can bring.
"I know this time at Manchester United affected me for the longest period in my career. I was so frustrated I couldn't give what I wanted."
