Following Toni Kroos' decision to retire from professional football, another Real Madrid star is now reportedly set to follow him out the Santiago Bernabeu exit door.
Joselu, who was on loan to Los Blancos for the 2023/24 season, will be leaving the Spanish giants, but will not be returning to his parent club Espanyol either, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

While he may have not been considered a solid feature in Real's starting XI during his stay in the Spanish capital, the 34-year-old played an important role in helping Real win a league title as well as the UEFA Champions League.
The attacker netted a late double in Los Meringues' second-leg semi-final encounter against Bayern Munich to help them reach the final stage of the competition, where they beat Borussia Dortmund 2-0 to clinch the trophy.
His performances over the course of the campaign is believed to have sparked manager Carlo Ancelotti's desire to keep him in the ranks, but the player's mind is now said to have been made up regarding an exit.
It is claimed Joselu will join Qatar Stars League outfit Al-Gharafa SC, with talks reportedly now at the closing stages.
"Deal at final stages with Al-Gharafa as details will be clarified soon with the striker," Romano wrote.
"Ancelotti wanted to keep Joselu but he's set for new chapter in Qatar."

The former Stoke City forward managed to contribute with an impressive 17 goals and three assists in 49 appearances for Real across all competitions last season, despite starting just 18 of those fixtures.
