With Ansu Fati said to be close to joining a Premier League club, that deal is now reportedly in the balance after a top European club entered the race for the FC Barcelona star's signature.
Following several weeks of serious speculation around his future, Fati was reported to have found his next club on Wednesday night.

The Spain international is set for an imminent departure from the Camp Nou, although this is expected to be only in a loan capacity.
Fati has been notably out of favour under manager Xavi Hernandez, who now seems to be showing more faith in 16-year-old sensation Lamine Yamal than in the 20-year-old.
The Premier League has long been touted as Fati's next destination, with London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur having been heavily linked with the winger.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the 20-year-old will indeed be heading to England, but will be making a shock switch to Brighton Hove Albion instead.
The Italian journalist claims that Seagulls boss Roberto de Zerbi was crucial in the player's decision to join his project, albeit it only on a 12-month loan deal.

However, a new plot twist could now be on the horizon, with Sevilla also pushing for the winger's signature.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Fati is now torn between going to Brighton or remaining in LALIGA and moving to Seville instead.
Fati made 51 appearances for the Blaugrana last season, although many of them came as a substitute, and registered 10 goals and four assists.
The player's father, Bori Fati, is understood to have been pushing for a move away from Barca for quite some time too, having become frustrated with his son's seemingly stifled career at the Camp Nou.
