Former Orlando Pirates defender Thabo Matlaba could be inching closer to a deal to move to a KwaZulu-Natal club, with whom he has been spotted training this week.
Matlaba is amongst the players set to be without jobs before the end of the season after the PSL terminated Royal AM's membership owing to their inability to fulfil fixtures since the turn of the year.

The club is reported to have been expelled from the League after a curator failed to secure a potential buyer to reclaim money owed by the chairlady Shauwn Mkhize to SARS.
'MaMkhize' is reported to owe the tax revenue service close to R40 million, with some of her assets in Durban having been seized in efforts to recoup the money.
According to a source close to Arrows, the former Bafana Bafana star is already training with Arrows, having started on Monday.
“Thabo is training with Arrows. I am not sure if he is signing or just training,” stated the source.
The PSL Dispute Resolution Chamber has already cleared six players from Royal AM to join teams of their choice.

Shadrack Kobedi and Sabelo Sithole have already joined Arrows, whilst Mfundo Thikazi has linked up with Richards Bay FC.
