In an exclusive interview, Baroka FC chairman Khurishi Mphahlele has explained his decision to retain popular coach Dan Malesela, who led the team as recently as at the end of last season.
As reported by KickOff.com, Malesela was recently let go by Marumo Gallants after assembling a competitive team there.

However, he has now returned to Lebowakgomo, where he received a warm welcome from the players this week.
"Yes, the coach is here, he is back with us," confirms Mphahlele, speaking to this website.
"He started on Monday, and the boys love him. They are excited to have him back.
"There is no chopping and changing of coaches here. Our previous coach, Joel Masutha, left us, so for a while, we were without a coach. We opted for Dan because he is the only one currently available, and he already knows the team.
"He doesn't need time to study or get to know the players, he has coached most of them before. It's not like bringing in someone who doesn't even know where Baroka Village is located," he continued.
Mphahlele stated that Malesela's contract will run until the end of the season, for now.

"He's a quick fix. If he does well, we can keep him as long as he wants. My aim is to retain him for a long time. The results will determine everything. What's important to us are the results.
"Promotion or no promotion, it doesn't matter; we want to see results. We want to be able to say 'hard luck, coach' after every loss, but he must lose with dignity."
