Rulani Mokwena's boss and Wydad president Hicham Ait Mena has reportedly made a significant decision regarding his future amid the Red Castle's recent challenges.
Wydad have been out of form lately, having not secured a win in several league matches. The situation deteriorated further when they suffered elimination from the Moroccan Throne Cup recently.
Additionally, the Red Castle appear to be on the brink of missing out on qualification for next season's CAF Champions League as they currently sit in third place in the Botola Pro League standings.

Mokwena's team is four points behind second-placed AS FAR Rabat with just four matches left to play. Amid all these challenges, it was said that the Wydad board of directors had expressed dissatisfaction with the current situation.
In recent weeks, reports have surfaced that the club's supporters and some board members voiced their displeasure with the team's situation and demanded the resignation of Ait Mena, along with coach Mokwena.
However, the former Mamelodi Sundowns tactician has been granted an opportunity to remain until the end of the season, as he believes he can still change the fortunes and lead the team to Champions League qualification.
